Welcome to Year 4. We hope that this will be a year in which your children grow in confidence, develop new skills and foster a love for learning across all areas of the curriculum. We also hope that you find this class page useful - we will try our best to keep it up to date with details about what is going on in class along with other important information to be aware of. Key dates

This term we will be continuing to have PE on Tuesday and Thursdays. Please ensure your child comes to school dressed in their PE uniform (white t-shirt and black shorts/trousers).
Homework
Spelling: The Spring Spellings have been sent home, and additional worksheets are sent each week to support with learning at home.
Reading: At least 30 minutes per day, 5 days per week. We also ask that at least twice a week children are reading aloud with an adult asking questions. Please make a note of this in the green reading diary.
Times tables: Times tables homework will be set on Times Tables Rockstars every Friday. Your child’s password and username is in their green homework diary.
SPAG: Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar CGP books will go home on a Friday and are due in on a Wednesday.
Topic homework: Homework linked to our Geography and History topics will be set each term in the form of a Pick 'n' Mix. See the list and instructions in the link below.
